The Tjungu & Pacifika association was created around Guillaume Vama, a young Kanak agroforester committed to sustainable development and initiatives to reintegrate young adults into entrepreneurship.

The association's first project is called “BEYOND DREAMS CABINS" : young adults in rehabilitation from Kanaky-New Caledonia and Berry (Bourges, Cher) are called upon to collaborate in inter-territorial pairs on the collective design and construction of hybrid, original, contemporary, eco-friendly cabins, the uses of which they will freely define according to the sites envisaged.

The project is sponsored by Isabelle LEBLIC, emeritus anthropologist at CNRS-LACITO-INALCO.
